Autism Hour Summit 2025

The connection between Autism and Play

About Autism Hour Summit

PlayStreet Specially Abled Educare Trust (since 2012) in the city of Bangalore, India is an organization working to become the voice of autistic individuals and create a platform for them to be understood, heard and soothed and provide support to them to realize their true potential and empower parents and families in this journey.

The month of April is very special to us as we try to bring the thoughts and work of various people across the world to share their valuable knowledge and experience with the world in the view of World Autism Awareness month.

In 2022, we brought a summit on “Importance of Movement, Relationships and Consciousness for managing Autism".

In 2023, we explored the topic “The impact of using AAC in the lives of individuals and families with Autism”.

By 2024, Autism summit became our tradition and we brought detailed conversations on the topic “The impact of Dyspraxia in the lives of individuals with ASD”.

In the year 2025, PlayStreet wants to take the tradition forward with worldwide experts with another topic of paramount importance which is “The connection between Autism and Play”.

Play is more than just fun—it’s a bridge to connection, learning, and growth. In our Autism Hours Summit 2025, we give you a glimpse into our upcoming conversations on autism and play—real stories, expert insights, and fresh perspectives.

This is just the beginning!

Stay tuned on iBWe – “I am Because WE are”, PlayStreet’s Parent Empowerment platform, for the full series!

We warmly invite everyone to join this summit and help foster a deeper understanding of the play patterns of autistic individuals. After all, playing differently doesn’t mean our children don’t enjoy play—it’s simply about connecting with them on their terms. Let’s take small yet meaningful steps each day to play their way and bring joy and safety into their world.
